EDUCATION

Accessible, Quality Education to Serve the Region's Students

Ensuring quality, accessible public education in the region is the responsibility of the Good Spirit School Division, which serves over 1,600 students through elementary/junior school program in Kamsack, Saltcoats, Churchbridge, Langenburg, and Esterhazy, and high school programs in Kamsack, Langenburg, Esterhazy and Churchbridge.

Schools in our region include:

  • Churchbridge Public School (K - 5)
  • Esterhazy High School (6 - 12)
  • P.J. Gillen School [Esterhazy] (K - 5)
  • Victoria School [Kamsack] (pre-K - 4)
  • Kamsack Comprehensive Institute (5 - 12)
  • Hoffman School [Langenburg] (K - 4)
  • Langenburg High School (5 - 12)
  • Saltcoats School (K - 8)

In addition, the Parkland Regional Community College operates satellite campuses in Esterhazy and Kamsack from its main campus just outside the region in Melville as well as an adult education centre in nearby Yorkton. The Esterhazy and Kamsack campuses allow students to complete first- and second-year university or technical college programs.

Five childcare programs are also located in the region, in Kamsack, Langenburg, Churchbridge, Saltcoats and Esterhazy.

PUBLIC LIBRARIES

Libraries Support Education, Research and Leisure Reading

Seven towns and villages operate public libraries except for Bird's Point, Gerald and MacNutt.
