There are two seasonal airports, one at Esterhazy with a 3,000-foot (914-metre) paved runway and the other at Kamsack, with a 2,500-foot (762-metre) paved runway. Both operate under visual flight rules and accommodate night flying. Neither provides scheduled air service.

Churchbridge operates a small local airport with a 2,450-foot. (747-metre) turf-covered airstrip and Bredenbury operates a 2,800-foot (853-metre) unpaved strip. Neither accommodate night flying.

Greyhound also provides passenger and parcel service from the region's communities of Langenburg, Churchbridge and Saltcoats, along its Yellowhead Highway route between Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

Quality Communications Connect the Region and the Outside World
The Yellowhead is well serviced with quality communications including high-speed broadband Internet, landline and wireless telephones, cable or satellite TV and broadcast radio and television.

SaskTel, the provincial Crown corporation, is the main provider of landline telephone and dial-up or broadband Internet service, with satellite broadband Internet service also available.

SaskTel and Rogers are the main providers of advanced cell phone service that provides blanket coverage in the area. Telus wireless phones also operate in the area.

Television service is mainly available by satellite through Star Choice or ExpressVu with sales agents in Kamsack, Langenburg and Esterhazy. Many communities have access to local cable television.

Since Yorkton is the major service centre for the broader region, Yellowhead residents rely on its broadcast radio and television stations for news and information.
