Facilities

The region's municipalities provide and maintain almost 30 sports facilities across the region including sports fields for soccer, football, baseball as well as hockey/skating arenas, curling arenas, outdoor swimming pools, hiking and cross-country ski trails and more. 

All the towns and villages except Bird's Point have both hockey and curling arenas, and Churchbridge, Esterhazy, Langenburg and Kamsack maintain sports fields and outdoor swimming pools.

Organizations

Paralleling the range of sports facilities are more than 40 sports organizations that provide children, youth, adults and seniors with opportunities to participate in fun or competitive sporting activities including men's and women's hockey, baseball, soccer, curling, cross-country and downhill skiing, figure skating, swimming, golf and bowling.

The region is home to four nine-hole golf courses:

• Kamsack Riverside Golf Course,
• Antler Acres in Churchbridge
• Carlton Trail Regional Park Golf Course in Spy Hill
• Esterhazy Golf and Country Club'

with additional courses just outside the region.

Those seeking the challenge of 18 holes can find five courses near the region:

• Deer Park Municipal Golf Course (Yorkton)
• York Lake Golf and Country Club (Yorkton),
• Last Oak Golf and Country Club (Crooked Lake Provincial Park),
